Juha-Pekka Tuovinen works as a senior scientist at the Climate Change Research Unit of the Finnish Meteorological Institute (FMI). He is an atmospheric physicist with a 25 years’ expertise in air pollution and climate change studies. His research interests include atmosphere-biosphere exchange of greenhouse and trace gases, risk assessment methods for ozone effects on vegetation, mathematical modelling of air pollution transport on different scales and air quality assessments. He is a member of the Management Committee of the COST Action ES0804 “Advancing the Integrated Monitoring of Trace Gas Exchange between Biosphere and Atmosphere”. He is an author of more than 50 peer-reviewed papers and numerous scientific reports.
